Unnati Dance Academy – Guidelines, Policies, Terms & Conditions:

By registering for classes at Unnati Dance Academy, parents and students confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to follow all academy guidelines, policies, and terms & conditions.

Enrollment & Registration

An annual registration fee is required for all new and returning students unless otherwise announced during an Early Bird Registration period or any special promotional offer.

Free Trial Class

New students are invited to attend one complimentary trial class.

If the student decides to enroll after the trial session, the trial class fee will be included in the first tuition payment.

Please note:

  • A trial class does not guarantee admission into a specific class.
  • Enrollment priority is given to students who complete their registration.
  • Classes are subject to availability and may become full without prior notice.

Tuition & Payment Policy!

At Unnati Dance Academy, our goal is to provide exceptional dance training in a motivating, encouraging, and positive atmosphere. Families may choose the payment option that best fits their preference.

All 1-Hour Classes: Full Season Payment September 2026 – June 2027.

Semester 1: (September – December 2026)

Semester 2: (January – March 2027) Auto-pay will be processed on January 1, 2027.

Semester 3: (April – June 2027) Auto-pay will be processed on April 1, 2027.

All 1.5-Hour Classes: Full Season September 2026 – June 2027.

Semester 1: (September – December 2026)

Semester 2: (January – March 2027) Auto-pay will be processed on January 1, 2027.

Semester 3: (April – June 2027) Auto-pay will be processed on April 1, 2027.

Families also have the option to pay for the entire dance season from September through June at the time of registration.

Auto Billing:

By enrolling at Unnati Dance Academy, parents and guardians authorize the academy to process tuition payments automatically based on the selected payment plan.

Non-Refundable Policy:

All tuition payments, registration fees, costume charges, event fees, competition fees, workshop fees, and ticket purchases are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.

Refunds, credits, payment holds, or tuition freezes will not be granted for:

  • Missed classes
  • Vacations
  • Scheduling conflicts
  • Relocation
  • Weather-related closures
  • Withdrawal after payment has been processed

Exceptions may only be reviewed in the case of a documented long-term medical condition or injury.

Withdrawal Policy!

Quarterly Payment Plans:

To withdraw from the January–March quarter, written notice must be received by December 1.

To withdraw from the April–June quarter, written notice must be submitted by March 1.

Full-Year Plan:

Students enrolled under the Full-Year Plan are committed to the complete dance season and are not eligible for refunds, cancellations, tuition freezes, or credits once payment has been processed.

Notice Requirements:

All withdrawal requests must be submitted by email to:

Verbal notifications given to instructors, assistants, or academy staff will not be considered an official withdrawal request.

Failure to provide written notice before the applicable deadline will result in the next scheduled tuition payment being processed.

Attendance & Make-Up Classes:

Consistent attendance is encouraged to support each student’s learning, improvement, and performance preparation.

Make-Up Class Policy:

Missed classes are not eligible for refunds, credits, or replacement classes.

However, instructors will make every reasonable effort to help students catch up on any missed choreography or lesson content.

Academy Cancellations:

If Unnati Dance Academy cancels a scheduled class, a make-up class or an alternative learning arrangement may be provided.

Where possible, students may also be allowed to attend another appropriate class offered by the academy.

Parent Observation Policy:

To maintain a focused, organized, and distraction-free classroom environment:

Parents and guardians are not permitted inside the studio during regular class sessions.

Parents may be invited to observe during designated observation days or during the final few minutes of class at the instructor’s discretion.

Costumes, Events & Performances:

Students may have the opportunity to participate in:

  • Unnati Annual Showcase
  • Annual Dance Recital
  • Community Performances
  • Cultural Festivals
  • Dance Competitions
  • Celebrity Events
  • Special Workshops & Masterclasses

Participation Fees:

Some performances, competitions, workshops, and special events may require additional participation fees, costume charges, or ticket purchases.

Costumes & Props:

Costumes, jewelry, accessories, and props may be provided by Unnati Dance Academy for selected performances and academy events.

All academy-issued items must be returned by the specified deadline.

Late returns may result in additional charges or penalties.

Performance Placement:

Performance participation and group placements are determined solely by the instructors and management of Unnati Dance Academy.

Student Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Arrive on time for each class.
  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect.
  • Follow all academy policies, instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Display positive behaviour, discipline, and good sportsmanship at all times.

Unnati Dance Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove any student whose behaviour disrupts classes or interferes with a positive learning environment.

Injury Waiver & Assumption of Risk:

Dance and other physical activities naturally involve certain risks.

By participating in classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, workshops, and all academy-related activities, students and parents acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

Unnati Dance Academy, its instructors, staff members, and affiliates will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, loss, or damage that may occur while participating in academy programs or events.

Photo & Video Release:

Photographs and videos may be captured during classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, workshops, and other academy activities.

These photographs and videos may be used for:

  • Social Media
  • Academy Website
  • Marketing Materials
  • Promotional Campaigns

By enrolling at Unnati Dance Academy, parents and students authorize the academy to use such photographs and videos for promotional and marketing purposes unless a written request states otherwise.

Policy Updates:

Unnati Dance Academy reserves the right to modify or update its policies, tuition fees, schedules, programs, and operational procedures whenever necessary.

Any revisions or updates will be communicated through the academy website, official email communications, or the student portal.
